I approach problems holistically putting the user in the center of the design process no matter the design discipline.
My design process follows the Design Thinking and Agile methodologies. It is not a linear process and I tailored it according to the project type I am working on. Either a Branding Project or a Website, the key is defining the problem and iterate according to user testing findings. This approach leads me to achieve the design goals wanted.
After the problem is identified, the design goal is defined. Establishing the problem statement and the design goals. Deadlines and budget established.
Brainstorming, ideate, sketching, choosing appropriate channels to deliver message, or the materials/technology to use.
Prototyping, defining design assets to use. Material, color, typography.
Testing the solution product or service with client, targeted users, or audience.
Improve the design against the feedback of the testing. .
Gathering information, identifying the problem and user needs. Briefing, empathizing, researching, brainstorming, and benchmarking.
I am committed to staying current in the fast-paced, evolving design field. I keep my skill set up-to-date with new tools, and I am constantly learning about new market trends.
